Customer Review: Unsatisfactory Noise Level and Color

If you are looking for "whisper-quiet" operation as this product's description claims, don't buy this product. We have other small fans that are quieter on a high speed setting than this Vornado product is on its lowest speed setting. Also, if you order this in the Midnight Blue color, be prepared for it to arrive and appear essentially black. The picture on-line and on the product box show more blue tinge than is actually there. If you look hard in bright sunlight, you can see just a hint of dark blue but it is almost imperceptible. Ten minutes after opening the box and plugging it in, the fan was back in the box awaiting return. Not satisfied with it. On a more positive note, we liked the stylish design. I got this for my teen-aged grandson to use in his loft. It's powerful enough to move air throughout the area. He loves it. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive this item the day after I ordered it. Great service.
