If you're looking for a fan to cool you off, this fan is not the one.
In order to achieve a cooling effect on your face, your face must be about 2-3" from the fan, which is not reasonable if you want to do anything besides wasting time in front of a fan.
The instructions say it's ideal for use in bedrooms, dorm rooms, offices, hotel rooms and RVs. This fan will not achieve any amount of cooling or expected air movment in these enviroments.
I am returning this product.
